Come and experience a unique mining community from the turn of the century. The area around Folldal Mines is built around the copper mine dating from 1748, and is now a national technical-industrial cultural heritage site.
In addition to the old buildings, the main attraction at Folldal Mines is Stoll 1, an old mine gallery dating from the 18th century. Visitors to Folldal Mines can take a train ride 600 metres into the mine and enter Worms Hall. This hall is the site of guided tours inside the mine, as well as being an exciting venue for concerts, functions and dining.
