They 55 km long valley of Einunndalen is the longest summer mountain farming valley in Norway. You can drive into Einunndalen by turning off at Moskardet or in Dalholen. This is a great place to hike in the mountains or on paths in pristine nature and you can fish in mountain lakes, streams and rivers. You can buy fishing licenses at MX Sport Folldal and Grimsbu Turistsenter. A good tip is to stop in at Romsdalssetra. You can stay a night or more there and enjoy good, honest traditional mountain farm food. You can also participate and make your mountain farm food and help tend to the animals in the barn. A visit to the valley of Einunndalen will provide unique experiences for all visitors, regardless of whether you come from the city, the coast or the mountains.
